"Mister Jim" Schattauer is a children's performer, songwriter and recording artist.
He is also a popular keynote speaker and workshop provider who shares
his innovative musical activities with teachers and child care providers.
His upbeat performances bring out the best in young people with LOTS of
audience participation. Mister Jim's friendly voice, lively guitar and
dynamic stage presence captivate his audience with catchy tunes, playful
movement and the wonder of imagination!

For over fourteen years, Mister Jim has been giving concerts for young people all over the upper midwest and
beyond. Community festivals, school assemblies, parent nights, early childhood events, state and county fairs,
and countless stages for the performing arts have all been distinguished by the Mister Jim Musical Fun Show!

Mister Jim was the keynote speaker at the 2000 Resource and Referral Conference at Winona State University, and
at the 1998 Early Childhood Conference at the University of
Wisconsin, Stout. He was also the guest performer for the 1993 National School Age Care Conference in
St. Paul, Minnesota. In 1995, he gave the keynote address for the Minnesota Kindergarten Convention. Mister
Jim's composition, "So Many Colors", has been published nationally by the Shawnee Press.

Past Performances include: The Mall of America, The Minnesota Zoo, Minnesota Bound on KARE Television, Wisconsin Public Television, The
American Festival in Japan, The Minnesota State Fair and numerous Early Childhood Family Education events.
